When the newly formed Goulburn River Valley Tourism sought assistance in the creation of a strategic marketing plan, Pace swiftly answered the call. The new amalgamation encapsulated the Greater Shepparton, Mitchell, Murrindindi and Strathbogie local government areas and was in desperate need of a strategic plan to boost tourism into the future.

Pace were appointed to research and develop the strategy with a 5-year outlook, which identified the keys to successful marketing of the region as well as raising the awareness of the brand within the identified markets. A clearly defined plan for communicating within the industry was soon delivered, based on logical, cost-effective and measurable campaigns for the future.

Pace’s 5-year plan has led to the growth of the Goulburn River Valley region’s visitor economy by over $200m since the board’s inception, giving operators in this beautiful area a much-needed boost.
